Bella loves her K9 sport sack and it fits her perfectly. She is 17 inches and 25 pounds, we purchased the medium. The pack is very comfortable and supportive. Love the water bottle and storage container. Highly reccomend.
The K9 pack has literally helped us immensely with now being able to bring our 13 yr old Chihuahua on our walks or hikes where as previously, we were locked with either carrying her in our arms OR just not bringing her all together. This has been a game changer to allow her to see and smell/sniff and enjoy the fresh air as much as our other dog on her 4 legs! Thanks for making such a animal-forward item -- it's helped our family in more ways than I can express!
We gave our daughter one for her dog and she loved it so we had to have one for our Pippa. ❤️❤️

I was a little worried this bag wouldn't fit because my dog is so large. But it fits perfectly. Supports her well and it wasn't hard to get her inside the bag thanks to the K9 sportsack tutorial. She wasn't nervous getting inside the bag and she was a champ while being carried. Highly recommend for large dogs such as German Shepherds.
This is the picture of only the 2nd practice. #cutekai just fell asleep on my shoulder. He didn't care.
Good advice to truly read the instructions no matter how excited you are.
#cutekai is 40 lbs and full grown small aussie. He didn't take to the pack immediately but with the enormous amount of treats he was getting, he didn't care.
Tip: practice on the bed. That way they have space and you can roll them around to do the straps up. Then, stand them up, hold one of the straps, sit down, engage straps and off you go.
Our miniature schnauzer has never liked wearing anything other than her collar, so I was worried that she wouldn't like being strapped into a backpack.
To help warm her up to it, we set it down on the floor, and put treats in random parts of the pack. We did that for about 24 hours before ever trying to get her inside it. When we finally did, she was a bit confused at first (after all, she thought it was just a treat dispenser!), but once I put it on and started rolling down the street on a bicycle with her, she absolutely loved it!
She pretty much just sniffs at the air the whole time, much like when we drive in a car with the window down. She hardly ever squirms, so I think she feels comfortable. Now that she's had the bicycling experience, if I start to roll the bike without her, she cries with that "don't leave without me!" sound!
Now that we've had the Knavigate for about a month, her disposition toward the pack is much like toward her harness - she still doesn't _love_ the process of putting it on, but she tolerates it because she knows she's going to love what's on the other side.
Also, just gotta say - bicycling around town with a mini schnauzer on your back is adorable. People always want to talk with you about it!
It only took a few tries to get her used to getting in and out of her backpack. It has taken me longer to figure out how to put it on my back. Now as soon as she see it, she knows she is going for a ride. Lilo must be the most photographed doodle in our city. When you see her, post it on instagram! @lilojonesthedood
Just wish i remembered to order her ID tag...next time
Love the K9 Sport Sack. I think Wren loves it too, but since I can't get verbal confirmation I have to rely on her willingness to get in the bag as proof that she is down with it. I do have a bit of trouble clinching the straps once she is on my back, but all in all I am very happy to be able to ride with my pup!
We recently purchased our K9 Sport Sack for our tripod pittie a few weeks ago and we couldn't be happier. He was diagnosed with Bicipital Tenosynovitis last year and we have had to restrict his physical activity. We're an active family with two other dogs so being able to keep our little guy included has been very important to us. This purchase has made such a huge difference, and most importantly he loves it just as much as we do! We highly recommend this product!
Not only are all K9 Sport Sack products amazing, they have the best customer service. The zipper had had a slight issue and they replaced the product right away. My little pup loves her K9 Sport Sack and I love this company!
My dog is a 30 pound Boston terrier mix and didn’t fit the large. Upon returning, they sent me an email saying that I was past the return date, even though they sent it a day before the return date I was given. Then they were very curt and weird when I showed them that and somehow found my return the same day I emailed. Additionally, they keep a huge percentage even when you return an item unused with tags. Buyer beware.
Today is the first day that I was able to use it. We did a short hike and Penny did great. I picked up a small and I think she needs a booster, which I went ahead and ordered. I am looking forward to taking her with me more. I highly recommend it.
Our corgi was happy & content while in the backpack. He got a lot of pets from people & he loved every minute of attention he got. Although, I would have liked for the backpack to have some form of neck support for when he falls asleep. Overall great purchase!
Love the sport sack! Walter seemed to enjoy it very much. He does try shifting around to look different directions. I may try to attach a strap at the bottom that goes around my stomach to keep the sack from shifting. Will be using this again soon!
The K9 Sport Sack was designed exactly for this! Let your pup feel the wind in its face.
Pets can be allowed on public transportation as long as they are in carriers and the K9 Sport Sack fits that bill.
We know your dog was meant to walk and play, but when he/she tires out or gets hurt we're here for relief!
