It fit Bruno so well and I can’t wait to take him cycling with me.
I have a 14# mutt that gets tired after about a mile of walking. I ordered this pack for him, and got it today. I put him in it per the videos, and he went in with no fuss. We walked 4.5 miles and he looked like he loved every minute of it!
Could have probably done a medium, as he is at the edge of the size small. All and all a great purchase.
We absolutely love the pack and so does Willie! We were a little nervous because he is 35 lbs but he fits and holds in the pack so well. I love the spot for the front paws to hang and it helps secure him more 10/10 recommend
We have a 12yo rat terrier mix and this is the best dog backpack ive ever had, the only one that doesnt hurt my back. I do think even the basic model could be improved with another buckle that goes across your chest or stomach just for added support but my dog only weighs 9lbs and did so well in it she fell asleep. Most carriers she is uncomfortable and wiggly.
I have taken my 10 pound, 8 year old dog out and about running errands in a lightweight sling carrier, but I got the trainer pack for a recent adventure trip. Wanted the option to carry her in a pack when biking and hiking. She especially loved riding in the pack when we biked — Ears blowing in the wind! Because it’s a cozy fit, the pack swaddles and relaxes her. Normally she can be an anxious dog when we go to new places, but in the pack she was relaxed. An added plus! I would consider getting the Air 2 sack if I did more rigorous adventures, but the trainer is good enough for our short trips. I’m 6’ and my dog fits in a small sack; although it was comfortable for me, I think an Air2 would be an even better fit.
