This backpack allowed us to take our senior dog on the Gorge Trail in Watkins Glen. Although they do not allow dogs/pets on leashes because of all the narrow walkways and steps, the rangers allowed us to carry him without an issue (if you can do it with a baby, you can do it with a dog!). He was comfortable , warm, and was able to do all of his sniffing from the comforts of this carrier. While it did take some training to get him used to getting into it, we were able to do this within the week prior to our trip. We plan to use it again for other hikes in the future!
K9 sport sack is the best dog back pack ever. I used it to take my pup hiking in Colorado, and we bike together several times weekly. My dog loves it so much, he positions himself for placement in the bag when we get ready, and loves every minute he is with me. I can no longer say word “bike” without him going nuts jumping up and down to go for a bike ride. The backpack is so well made, kravigate size small fits my 11 lb Havanese and is so comfortable for my back, has pockets and does not make my pup too hot ( good airflow through the sides). I have people taking pictures and waving to me and my pup wherever we go.. it really is the coolest thing ever!!! So happy we have!!!
