Ordered from the UK - came much quicker than expected and top quality! My pooch is a Cavalier King Charles and the Large is a little big, but a couple of folded towels at the bottom has sorted that.
He loves it and actually thinks he's royalty being carried around!!
We recently got another Golden for service dog training and needed to make sure we started socialization. We also have 2 other dogs that needed their walks and outings and we couldn’t leave the new one behind. This pack pack provided an opportunity to socialize our pup in a safe way before she’d had all her vaccinations. Trips were short - no longer than an hour. Now that she can walk on the ground safely, we still take the backpack with us for when she gets tired and is unable to keep up with the others. We also want to limit how much she does walk as she’s just 3 1/2 months. It only took a time or two before she figured out what to do to make it easier to get her into the backpack. And she gets excited when she sees us take it down from the rack.
Our Aussie pup now gets to go for morning hikes with us. Started her at 9 weeks in a Large K9 back sack with a homemade bolster. She is growing fast and getting more used to it, although she prefers my smaller back rather than my husband's so that she can look over my shoulders better. At 11 weeks she still needs the bolster but is filling it out more. Photo is at 9 weeks & 12 lbs.
I am so pleased with how comfortable my dog is in this sport sack! She is a 15lb pom mix and I struggle to find a comfortable carrier for both of us. We took her for a spin today and she was just happy as could be. As she continues to age, I know this will be a godsend.
I was originally looking for a backpack for my corgi because she can’t keep up with my big dogs. The medium size fits her perfect. I originally got the large because that’s what they said would fit a corgi but it was WAY too big for her. The medium works great and she really likes it.
