Customer Service K9 Sport Sack

Service K9 Sport Sack

In small talk with random strangers, new acquaintances, or friendly neighbors I invariably get asked, “What do you do for work?” As I respond with the answer of “customer service”, the reaction I get is much the same. A grimace or flinch and the question, “How do you like that?” When speaking to others it seems the remembrance of customer service usually tips more towards the negative.

In this blog post I hope to shed some light on the positive side of customer service.

A Day In The Life...

At K9 Sport Sack I certainly make the effort to ensure your interaction with us is satisfactory. I hope you feel the same and that your experiences have been exceptional.

A few things I do on a daily basis are answer live chats mostly to help folks size their dogs for the K9 Sport Sack.  I also answer phones, emails and texts. I process returns and exchanges...I prefer exchanges they are much easier! Problem solving is a big part of my job in helping customers resolve issues. Such as locating lost packages, correcting orders, and making sure the custom name tags are just right!

As the person on the other side of the phone, chat, or email my experience with you has been amazing. I constantly get pictures, stories, and adventures sent to me.  I will randomly laugh in the office or insist my co-workers come and look at an adorable or fun picture. Sometimes the stories are bittersweet and remind me of the joy of having a dog in our lives. Thank you for making my job a great one and remembering I am human too.

Here are just a few of the pictures I have received in the last few days. This is truly the greatest part of customer service!

This isn’t just for young pets and people. Check out this 79 year old mountain biker and his 11 year old best friend, Mitzy a mini Dachshund! They keep healthy and active with weekly adventures on a bicycle and hiking through beautiful mountains. Credit Joe R.

Konrad despises being left behind this was the answer! He is enjoying simply enjoying his bike ride in North Carolina and appears content resting on his human’s shoulder with his hair blowing in the wind! Credit Ashley S.

Sometimes you just need to stick together when the going gets rough. Fritz keeps his pawrent company as she cleans the house. He gets to stay away from the loud vacuum and she gets moral support while scrubbing the house down. credit @Fritz-GeraldthePom

The Human on the Other Side

I think it’s important for all of us to remember that the person on the other side of the email, text or phone call is a real person. They want to have just as a positive experience as you do!

My name is Karen and I have worked for K9 Sport Sack for a little over a year as their sole customer service agent.  My husband and I are pawrents to two beautiful labrador retrievers. Oslo and Berlin are our babies. After a long day of work they cuddle me on the couch and all the stress melts away!  (Oslo is yawning and Berlin is playing with her toy.) Yes that is our Christmas tree in the corner...and yes is still up. Thank you for being such wonderful customers and a part of the K9 Sport Sack pack!

I have a 45lb border collie. She has had for ACL surgeries. Which sport sack is the best for her? It would be for just walking with our other three dogs. Or hiking. Then we would not have to leave her home. Thank you!
